The work on Readng Abbey has generated a great deal of interest in local history. It has also stimulated much debate about various aspects of medievall life, its art and crafts as well as its architecture.

Lindsay and I therefore thought we would try to open up one more channel of information.  Here you will find 'essay' and commentaries about Reaidng Abbey, those associated with it and about our own researches into the Abbey.

Please look at these as additional peices of information to the work being undertaken by Reading Borough Council and all those invloved in the great project to bring the Abbey back into the mainstream of the cuktural and social life of our town today.
